Abstract

Agriculture is usually defined as the tilling of the 'soil to produce crops and rearing of animals for man's use. Agriculture thus involves farm operations aimed at producing crops like maize, rice, cociaa, kolanut, sugarcane, groundnut, etc and the rearing of livestdck such as poultry, sheep, goat, cattle, fishes etc.
